In der Ruhe liegt die Kraft

Mit dieser Aussage hatte der gute Mann wohl garnichtmal so Unrecht. Die Fotos oben entstanden vor ein paar Wochen auf einem Berg hier in Irland. Es war ein Sonntag Mittag und eine Freundin und ich dachten uns, dass wir da doch einfach mal hochwandern könnten. Wir haben oben gepicktnickt und plötzlich würde es auch schon Zeit für den Sonnenuntergang. Ihr könnt euch gar nicht vorstellen wie schön dieser Moment war. Auf einem Berg, hoch oben über der Stadt, den Sonnenuntergang vor Augen und nichts als vollkommende Ruhe um uns herum. In so Momenten macht man sich die schönen Dinge im Leben wieder bewusst. So oft ich auch denken mag, wow ist das anstrengend mit den Kindern und meine Familie zu Hause vermisse ich auch.. in diesem Moment war ich einfach dankbar, dass ich dieses neue Land erkunden darf und die Möglichkeit habe neue Menschen und eine neue Kultur kennenzulernen. Immer wenn ich diese Fotos nun angucke, erfüllt mich das irgendwie wieder mit positiver Energie für die nächsten Arbeitstage :-)

With this statement the good man was not so wrong. The Photos above were taken a couple of weeks ago on a mountain here, in Ireland. It was a Sunday afternoon and my friend and I decided to walk up there. We had a lovely picnic and suddenly it was time for the sunset. You can´t imagine how great this moment was. On a mountain, high above the city, the sunset in front of your eyes and nothing but silence surrounding you. In moments like this you reflect the good things in life. Doesn´t matter how often I think, that the work is hard or I´m homesick.. in that moment I was just grateful for the possibility to see a new country and get to know new people and a new culture. Everytime I have a look at these photos now, I receive new positive energy for the upcoming working days.
