Bustour

Hi ihr Lieben,

nach dem Wochenende in Abwesenheit melde ich mich nun endlich wieder zurück. Wie ihr wisst war ich ja in Dublin und habe dort eine Bustour durch einen Teil der Wicklow Mountains mitgemacht.

Davon will ich euch jetzt mal ein paar Bilder zeigen.

Zuerst ging es nach Glendalough, einem ganz kleinen Ort, welcher auf vielen Karten auch nicht eingezeichnet ist.  Vom Parkplatz aus sind wir ungefähr eine halbe Stunde gelaufen und kamen dann zu diesem wunderschönen See.

Von dort aus ging es dann weiter zu einem Drehort von "PS Ich liebe dich", wobei es sich um eine Brücke handelte, auf welcher Hilary Swank und Gerard Butler standen.  Enttäuschender hätte dieser Teil der Tour allerdings nichts sein können, da man dort nirgendwo anhalten konnte und wir deswegen nur langsam darüber gefahren sind.  Das sah dann so aus

Allerding kann ich wirklich verstehen, warum die Filme dort gedreht wurden. Die Natur in den Wicklow Mountains ist einfach wunderschön und obwohl wir im Bus saßen habe ich den Ausblick echt genossen. 

Im Endeffekt finde ich, dass sich dieser Tag wirklich gelohnt hat. Ich habe wunderschöne Ecken von Irland gesehen, die Natur der Wicklow Mountains erlebt und sogar in Hollywood war ich! :D

// After you didn´t hear this weekend I am back now with some Photos from the Bustour through the Wicklow Mountains, I want to show you now. First we went to Glendalough, a really small town, which you can´t even see an some maps. When we arrived, we walked half an hour to a beautiful lake,which was lovely with the mountains in the backround.Aftert that we came to a movie setting from the movie "PS I love you", which was a bridge, Hilary Swank and Gerard Butler stood on. This part of the Tour was a bit dissapointing, because we couldn´t stop anywhere which the bus. That´s why I could just took the photo you see above, from inside the bus. But I must say, that I can really understand now, why the movie took place in this area. The nature in the Wicklow Mountains is breathtaking , and although we were sitting in the Bus most of the time, I truly enjoyed it. After all I think, that this day was worth the money we spent. I got to know beautiful places, saw the Nature and even went trough Hollywood! :D
